Turkish FM to visit Iran, Syria

TEHRAN – According to the London-based daily Asharq al-Awsat, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu plans to travel to Iran and Syria in the near future.

The Turkish official’s trip to Syria is an attempt to clear up misunderstandings between Ankara and Damascus. The decision about the Turkish foreign minister’s trips has been made during his recent meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
